TYMES TIDINGS 2018 https://www.tymestrust.org/pdfs/tymestidings2018.pdf All our members will by now have received a printed copy of Tymes Tidings 2018 through the post, along with their Christmas card and new Artwork design card. Now you can all let your friends and relations read it online. Here's what's in it: * Mr Harley Gets Down To Business! AND announces Young Hearts Awards For Schools * 14th Young Hearts Day 2018 What did our Young Officers do? Can you find your candle? * From Spring to Christmas Is your Seasonal Artwork here? What a display! * House of Lords Remembering Jade, and Terry Waite presents Young Hearts Awards Our Chair of Trustees writes: "We've saved up the photos till now as a window on the day. Despite the pain and struggle that ME brings to each family it touches, the afternoon was very happy, demonstrating the fellowship between parents, children, and all those who support them. ME is a cruelly isolating illness. We thought of all our absent friends." The theme this year was Young Hearts, commemorating our very first Young Hearts Day 14 years ago on November 29th. Every year since then, we post a candle on Twitter and Facebook to remember children with ME everywhere. This emotional day was once again shared by many people on social media, and you can see their candles in Tymes Tidings. MEMBERSHIP OF THE TRUST It's easy to join the Trust and receive post from us. Information is here https://www.tymestrust.org/registrationform.htm Don't forget that you can follow us on Twitter @tymestrust or on Facebook www.facebook.com/tymestrust. If you'd like to follow me on Twitter, I'm @JaneCColby and I tweet quite often! Finally, I must thank our wonderful, kind, helpful Advice Line Team, who all have personal experience of ME through caring for their own children. They give their time free of charge and I can't speak too highly of them. All good wishes for the Christmas season. Wrap up warm!
